A FURTHER two cases of coronavirus have been linked to Beath High School, according to NHS Fife.

The additional cases brings the total number of individuals with links to the school that have tested positive to 15, and additional contacts have been identified and are being asked to self-isolate.

It means the outbreak has increased by 11 in less than a week, with the school now closed for the October holidays.

One case was confirmed with the nursery at Foulford Primary last week.

Children in the Bumblebee Rooms 1 and 2 were considered to be potential contacts and told to isolate as a precaution.

NHS Fife has been contacted for comment.
