BARRMILL and District Community Association have been working hard to get the community centre deep cleaned and ready for use when government guidelines allow.
The group have had so much help from local companies.
Chair Jean Gilbert said: “Many thanks go to the guys from Envirogleam for the hall deep clean and fogging, Bonnymans for PPE and sanitizing products, BEP Signs who helped with signage and, of course, our amazing volunteers for all their hard work, donated time and materials.
“At the moment only very limited access is allowed in the hall but we look forward to welcoming folk back in the future.”
The Association held a small workday earlier this month giving people a bottle of water, two bottles of hand gel and a bag of potatoes grown on the allotment to take home.
Chair Gilbert said: "I would like to thank all those who took part volunteers who made a big difference."
