Tell me more.

It centres on teenage sisters, Iris and Hope, who exist in a curious hinterland where the zombie threat is at bay, yet never far from mind in the Nebraska settlement they call home. Normality is a strange beast, one where being taught how to stab "empties" through the eye is a rite of passage.

The Herald:

A proposed alliance with another settlement and the presence of a shady group called the Civic Republic Military stokes tensions, not least when the girls' father becomes part of the negotiations to help broker a deal.

Then what?

Iris and Hope are joined by their friends, Elton and Silas, to embark upon an ill-advised adventure into the big, bad world outside their safe enclave. Think of it as a YA version of The Walking Dead.

The most recognisable name among the cast is probably Julia Ormond, known for her roles in Legends of the Fall and Sabrina.

When can I watch?
