CHILDREN at Lochgelly West Nursery have been asked not to attend today (Thursday) after a staff member tested positive for Covid-19.
NHS Fife confirmed the news late yesterday afternoon and all pupils, as a precaution, have been asked self-isolate until Monday September 28, prior to returning on Tuesday September 29.

There is no evidence of transmission within the nursery at this stage. As a precaution all pupils not to attend nursery tomorrow (15/09) and should isolate until Mon 28 Sept 20.

The health board say that there is no evidence of any transmission within the nursery at this stage, and that the risk to pupils and staff is low.
Anyone who develops any of the established symptoms of the virus, such as a fever, a loss or change in taste or smell, or a new and continuous cough, should arrange a test by calling 0800 028 2816, or visiting the NHS website.
