FIVE cannabis plants were found growing in a tent during a police drugs raid in Lochgelly.
Kieran Foy, 27, has now admitted that on June 4, 2019, at his home in Auchterderran Road, he was producing a controlled drug, cannabis.
Depute fiscal Jill Currie told Dunfermline Sheriff Court that police had searched the house for drugs after being granted a warrant.
There was no-one in the house at the time the raid was carried out.
Five mature cannabis plants were found within a tent in the property.
“During the search, the landlord arrived at the property and said he knew nothing about the cultivation,” the depute added.
Sheriff Charles Macnair called for reports and Foy will be sentenced on September 30.
