PEOPLE who dumped debris, including asbestos, in the middle of the Ballingry to Scotlandwell Road came under strong fire on the Benarty Matters Facebook page.
Kevin Payne posted what he came across while travelling on that stretch on Tuesday.
It brought a sharp response from people very unhappy at the continued wanton flytipping happening in the Benarty area.
Among the posts made were: "Some more dumped in the Glenfarg area, someone is getting an old garage taken down or house extension done so someone must know who paid people to take this stuff away."
And: "Are these people stupid, hope they caught soon, they have damaged themselves into the bargain, lowlifes that's for sure"; along with: "Absolutely ridiculous, they must have been going along the road dumping it as they went".
Also: "Terrible this is, the Hill Road is getting bad as well. Trail cams is the way to catch these scum."
A team had to spend quite a lot of time clearing up the road and the point was made of how dangerous it is to dump material on the middle of a road.
