LOCKDOWN changed an awful lot for many people but for a Kelty woman it has ended up opening a whole lot of doors.

Robyn Drummond, 25, had just started a new job with the NHS using her skills as a fitness instructor when Covid-19 struck, and she found herself with a bit of a vacuum in her life.

It was then she started to do some fitness sessions on Facebook and all of a sudden things started to take off.

Said Robyn: "During lockdown people were keen to look to get some fitness tips without having to go too far and my Facebook sessions provided a lot of assistance for people of all ages.

"Within a few weeks we had 280 members in the 'Lockdown Legends' group and word kept spreading and people were keen to join."

Robyn stressed: "These are 30 minute sessions and is all about simple work that people can have fun with and improve their fitness.

"The sessions can be useful for any age group so it is all about total inclusiveness.

"I teach five live classes on Facebook and people can enjoy these in their own living room."

So Robyn is looking to extend the Lockdown Legends online.

"I am looking to develop the idea during the next few months and I hope that more people want to get involved."

The fitness instructor from Kelty is also hoping to become a physiotherapist: "I would like to study physiotherapy as it is always something I have had a lot of interest in."
