A burst water main has sparked a supply disruption in an area of Glasgow. 

Residents in the G33 area are to expect an interruption as Scottish Water work to repair the damage. 

Scottish Water has confirmed a full repair is estimated to be conducted by around 10am.

A Tweet reads: "We have located a burst water main which is causing an interruption to the water supply for customers in the #G33 area of #Glasgow.

"Repairs are underway and the full repair will take an estimated 2 and a half hours from now to complete."
