EMERGENCY services were involved in a full turn out at Lochore Meadows Country Park in the early hours of Thursday following the second well meant false alarm call to the facility in a few weeks.

Between 3am and 4am firefighters, police and ambulance teams were sent to the park after a report was received that a man could have gone into the loch.

A thorough search of the loch area and the island in the centre of it found no sign of anyone, or signs of someone having entered the water.

The emergency services were stood down just before 6am.

Just a few weeks back there as a full turn out at the park after a report had been received of children in trouble on the park loch.

However, the kids, who had been paddle boarding, were found to be fine.
