TRAFFIC on the A92 was held up yesterday when a vehicle was involved in an accident and went backwards into the bushes just after the Cowdenbeath junction.
The Fife Jammer Locations Facebook page had a number of posts showing the severity of the incident.
These included: "Just passed. Roof been cut off and lying to side. Tyre marks on road. Looks bad."
And: "I really hope people in the car are ok I was driving on the opposite side of the road heading off the Cowdenbeath junction when I saw the car travelling backwards and crash into the bushes", plus: " People getting cut out as we passed, hope everyone ok, road still open but long queues."
The accident occurred around 3pm and the traffic build up was pretty substantial for quite some time.
