MOTORISTS who regularly use the A92 are being advised of overnight works that will take place next week.

The westbound carriageway, at the Crossgates junction, will close from 8pm-6am on the nights of Tuesday July 21, and Wednesday July 22, for a resurfacing project.

Traffic travelling westbound will be diverted to junction three of the M90, at Halbeath, via the Crossgates roundabout which will allow traffic to continue to move west.

In line with Scottish Government guidance, and to ensure the safety of workers during the maintenance project, physical distancing measures will be in place, thorough risk assessments will be carried out, and cleansing stations will be implemented on-site.
