The stretch between Cowdenbeath and Crossgates was closed for some time.
THE A92 was log jammed yesterday evening after an accident saw police, fire and ambulance services on the scene.
Traffic heading west was completely stopped between Cowdenbeath and Crossgates after the incident.
It meant that people heading for the M90 faced a considerable delay and anyone looking to get a bus connection at the Halbeath Park and Ride were faced with major issues.
The double lane queue stretched way back to Cowdenbeath.
