THE swans are popular residents at Lochore Meadows Country Park and the recently born cygnets are now getting used to swimming in the Meedies loch.
Lochgelly amateur photographer, Derek Johnstone, was down at the park at the weekend and was lucky enough to come upon a young family taking to the water.
Said Derek: "The swans seem to be so used to people being near them they just get on with it as the park was pretty busy.
"The young cygnets are confident too and it was lovely to see them enjoying themselves having a swim.
"The public really enjoy watching the swans and while I was there mum and dad were certainly ensuring the youngsters kept in line!"
