THE teachers at Lumphinnans Primary School may have not seen their pupils for some time due to the Covid-19 crisis.

However, before the end of the term they hit the roads of the village and were visiting pupils. But they also dropped in at the Lindsay House Care Village and loved blethering to the senior citizens. T

The staff of Lumphinnans Primary School and some special guests walked around the streets of Lumphinnans to say hello and wave to the pupils we have not seen for such a long time.

Said headteacher Linda Skelding: "We wanted to say how proud we were of them and give them a surprise for all their hard work during lockdown.

"We also went to the care village to cheer up the residents too".
