NON material variations for the Co-op's planned new store at Cocklaw Street, Kelty, do in fact need planning permission.
The Co-op's plan for the site beside Kelty Club, had been given Fife Council consent for the erection of a retail store (Class 1) and the formation of a new access, parking and associated works. However, a non material variation to instal an ATM machine on side elevation, a satellite dish on upper rear elevation, roller shutters on side elevation windows, installation of an Amazon collection locker against the rear elevation and the installation of small aperture vents on side, does need full planning permission, the council has confirmed.
