THE staff of Crossgates Primary have brought smiles and cheer to the pupils of the school by creating a video 'sharing the love'.

This is the eighth video that the staff have made and has become an annual tradition in the school.

The video begins with headteacher, Sheona McCulloch, delivering a Lockdown News Bulletin before the staff are seen dancing around their homes, gardens and streets to ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.’

It ends with the message - 'Nothing can stop the Crossgates staff helping our awesome Crossgates Kids. We miss you all and hope to see your smiling faces soon'.

Lisa O’Donnell, class teacher and video creator said: “The staff love creating these videos and we really wanted to do something to share with the school community.”

The video was shared on the Crossgates Primary School Facebook page with over 200 views in the first hour. Many parents have commented how emotional it has made them feel and how lovely it has been to see the staff.
