DEMAND for PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) increased at a hub set up by the Fife Health and Social Care Partnership.
A briefing to Fife councillors on Thursday by chief executive Steve Grimmond said the support for the wider care sector had been running for two weeks.
He said: "In week one, 89 care providers and 45 carers collected equipment and in week two, this rose to 101 provider and 65 carers."
Mr Grimmond also reported: "The closed home care Facebook page remains well used by home care staff.
"There is an ongoing review as to how best to continue to support staff through the various phases of the pandemic."
