Telephone lines brought down by the trees.
A ROAD outside Kelty was blocked for a time on Wednesday when trees came down.
The falling timber also brought down telephone lines running up the side of the road.
The trees came down on the road leading to Kelty Bridge, near Middleton Park, and it needed a fair bit of work to clear the wood.
The trees were probably delayed victims of the very high winds of Saturday and Sunday which saw wind speeds in excess of 50mph.
