A POLICE investigation has been launched after a man sustained injuries in a Lochore street.
Emergency services raced to Ballingry Road on Saturday afternoon with paramedics and police vehicles in attendance.
The 35-year-old was taken to Victoria Hospital, in Kirkcaldy, and a police probe is underway with detectives in Dunfermline carrying out enquiries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4.10pm on Saturday, May 23, officers were called to a report of a 35 year-old man injured on Ballingry Road, Lochore.
"He was taken by ambulance to Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy.
"Detectives in are continuing to carry enquiries into how he came about his injuries.”
