THIS week's Down Memory Lane photographs come from exile Eric Sneddon, who last year sent us some interesting pictures from Lochgelly from the first part of the 20th century.
This collection is of a similar time as Eric explained: "Although I have been away from the town for a lot of years I was fortunate that my grandparents gave me a lot of old pictures before I left to go to Nottinghamshire in the early 1980s.
"These ones show a shot (top picture) of a soup kitchen in the town from I think the early 1930s. There is also a picture of the Lochgelly Co-op Bakery cart from the late 1920s all dressed up for a gala day in the town.
"There are are two pictures from the early 1960s, an aerial shot of the Francis Street area with new homes under construction, and Macainsh Church."
If you have any old photographs you would like to see in Down Memory Lane send them to editorial@centralfifetimes.co.uk
