A MAN has been charged with drugs offences after a police patrol stopped a "suspicious looking" driver in Lochgelly on Monday night.
A tweet from Cowdenbeath police said they'd pulled the car over and a search had found a "large amount" of cash and drugs.
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed: "Whilst on patrol, officers stopped a car in the Lochgelly area on Monday.
"Following a search of the vehicle, a personal quantity of controlled drugs were seized.
"A 27-year-old man has been charged in connection with drug offences and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal."
