AT a time when the provision of personal protection equipment is such a major issue in the fight against coronavirous, the technical department at Lochgelly High School has made and supplied 40 visors for one of the local residential homes.

The Benarty Matters Facebook page had a response to a post from Adam Jackson, at Lochgelly High, who said: "40 visors made and dropped off at the Lindsay Care Village in Lumphinnans.

"If any other health workers require visors get in touch at Adam.jackson@fife.gov.uk "

It bought this reaction on the Facebook page: "Brilliant gesture by Lochgelly techy dept! I don’t know what the protective equipment situation is at Benore or for home carers but there’s an offer of help there for anyone who needs it."

There were follow up posts suggesting that there were requirements for some visors at other care facilities.
