CLUNY Activities have been given the green light to create a children’s play area at their facility, near Cardenden.

The proposals, submitted to Fife Council, include the change of use of an existing storage warehouse area and meeting room, within the Cluny Activities site, to form an internal children’s play area complete with refreshments servery and toilet facilities.

A supporting statement for the application said: “The opening hours of the new children’s play area are to be 9am – 6pm, and the facility is to be open 7 days per week. This is to be managed within the scope of the complex as a whole.

“The existing parking facilities at the site are to be utilised, with some 130 spaces throughout the site. There is no current concern over under provision generally.”

Cluny Activities offer a wide range of options for all the family from clay shooting, archery, rifles, golf, footgolf, the park and much more.

The council planners gave the plan the green light with no conditions attached.
