FIFE'S biggest tourist attraction is still very much open for people to use as part of their bid to keep fit during the current lockdown.

But the social distancing rules of the lockdown are very much applicable to the park as anywhere else.

The weather of the past week has made the park an attractive proposition for people to have their short fitness activity but they must adhere to the guidelines.

Said one of the Park team: "We want people to still enjoy some fresh air every day – but we also want everyone to stick to the Government advice about social distancing.

"To help reduce the spread of COVID-19, we are asking that outdoor play facilities such as play parks, skate parks and multi-use games areas are not used.

"Closing these types of facilities means there is more chance that the advice to stop all public gatherings of more than two people is followed and that groups of young people do not arrange to meet up outdoors.

"At this time, we encourage you to still enjoy Fife’s outdoors as a form of exercise, either on your own or with those you live with, for a run, walk or cycle."
