A CROSSHILL support worker has spearheaded an egg-stra special charity appeal.
Members of the Killer Queens Facebook group, which runs competitions and appeals for donation, chipped into help with the impressive donation.
After providing £1300 worth of winter survival packs to the Homeless Outreach Project last year, group founder Laura McConnell said the latest offerings will go to Women's Aid, The Sunshine Box and Social Services.
Laura was delighted to be able to help the latest good causes.
"People have been donating and it all adds up," she said. "Everyone has come together and put in what they could."
