AN accident on the M90, near the Kelty junction, caused long tail backs yesterday.
The accident brought traffic to a standstill heading towards Dunfermline and the Queensferry Crossing.
There were a number of lorries and vans in the in excess of forty or so vehicles stopped by the hold-up, and also several cars.
The number of vehicles held up brought a lot of comments to the Fife Jammer Locations Facebook page.
Lee Watson said: "There are more vans and trucks than there is cars that I can see of!"
Margaret Heron commented: "What happened to staying at home in the lockdown. No wonder this virus is spreading."
And Moira King said: "Whatever happened to staying at home."
The vehicles involved in the accident were moved to the hard shoulder and after a considerable delay the traffic started to move again and the long queue cleared.
