Police warn of counterfeit notes.
COWDENBEATH Community Police team are concerned about incidences of counterfeit cash being tendered in the area.
The Community Team tweeted: "Officers in the Lochgelly and Cowdenbeath area are asking for the public and businesses to be vigilant when exchanging notes, as counterfeit notes are known to have been tendered in the area". People should be beware when receiving change and businesses on the alert when receiving payments.
