WITH the spring season for gardeners fast approaching, Cowdenbeath Community Police team have reported several raids to garden sheds in Lochgelly.
These raids have seen different types of tools taken, mainly of the powered style.
The Police team's Twitter account reported: "Officers in the Lochgelly area are investigating a spate of break-ins to sheds that have occurred over the past couple of weeks, with numerous power tools stolen. Officers are appealing for the help of the public to assist with enquiries".
The police team is also urging householders to check that their sheds and outbuildings are totally secure as these sort of raids tend to happen as the growing season approaches.
