Coronavirus: Fife total increases by 48

    The number of positive coronavirus cases in Fife has increased by 48 in the last 24 hours.
  • The total number of cases is now 2,053.
  • Scottish Government figures show that 21 people were in hospital with the virus at midnight last night – one more than the figures reported yesterday.
  • The number of people in intensive care remains less than five and has done since June 2.
  • Figures also show that across Scotland, 1,401 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported; this is 20.6 per cent of newly tested individuals.
  • There have been 18 new deaths of people across the country.
