Coronavirus: Cases in Fife now total 74,086

  • THE number of coronavirus cases in Fife has risen by 335 in the last 24 hours.
  • The total number of cases is now 74,086.
  • The number of people with COVID-19 in Fife's hospitals gone up by one to 97 while the number of people in ICU remains below five.
  • In Fife, a total of 299,279 people aged 12 and over have had their first COVID-19 vaccination, 91.6 per cent of the 12 and over population.
  • There have been 280,009 people who have had their second dose, which is 85.7 per cent of the 12 and overs in the region.
  • And 224,954 Fifers have had their third dose or booster, 68.9 per cent of the 12 and over population.
  • Across Scotland, there were 8,275 new positive cases reported with 20 new deaths reported.
  • A total of 4,408,534 people have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccination, 4,117,631 have received their second dose, and 3,274,918 have received a third dose or booster.
