A TEENAGER sent abusive social media messages to his former partner in Lochgelly telling her to kill herself.
As a result, Paul McLaughlin, 19, of Lathro Court, Kinross, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that between August 1 and February 1, at Lochgelly and elsewhere, he caused his former partner fear or alarm by sending abusive social media messages telling her to kill herself, created social media accounts repeatedly to contact her after he had been blocked and phoned her repeatedly when asked not to do so.
He also admitted that on February 1, at Cardenden, he sent homophobic messages repeatedly to another female.
Sentence was deferred for reports and McLaughlin will be sentenced on March 25.
