A LOCHGELLY man caused a disturbance then tried to stop his former partner from phoning the police.
Alan Haddow, 38, of Joe Temperley Wynd, Lochgelly, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on July 18, at an address in Lochgelly, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting and swearing, attempted to pull a mirror from a wall, threw a headboard on the floor, slammed a kitchen door, attempted to prevent his ex-partner from contacting the police by removing a mobile phone from her hand and placed her and three children there in a state of fear and alarm.
Sheriff Charles MacNair called for reports and Haddow will be sentenced on April 1.
