A MAN was chased and threatened with a baseball bat before being punched repeatedly in a shocking attack in Cardenden.
Assailant Sean Burns was brandishing a baseball bat as he chased the victim.
Burns, 29, of Brodie Court, Glenrothes, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on February 2 last year, at Hyndloup Terrace, Cardenden, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by assaulting his victim, brandished a baseball bat at him, pursued him, then punched him repeatedly in the head and body to his injury.
Sheriff Charles MacNair called for reports and Burns will be sentenced on March 25.
