A LUMPHINNANS has appeared in court after a row with his partner on New Year’s Day ended in an assault.
Ryan Kerr, 23, of Hope Street, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that he assaulted his partner by pushing her on the body on January 1 at an address in Dunfermline.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said the woman had been out with a friend and an argument began between her and Kerr after she returned home.
“During this argument, he pushed her,” she added.
Defence solicitor Peter Robertson said that, at the time, his client was suffering from mental health issues which were exacerbated by taking cannabis.
Sheriff James MacDonald fined Kerr £210.
