A ROW over noise resulted in a disturbance which landed two Cowdenbeath teenagers in court.
Ellie Grant, 18, and Ami Lee, 19, both of Moss side Road, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
They admitted that on April 26, at Moss side Road, they acted aggressively, shouted, swore, screamed and struggled with Lee's grandparents.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said the two were both living at Lee’s grandparents at the time.
He said they had been drinking and were making a lot of noise and that the grandmother went into the room to tell them to keep the noise down.
“They were in a state of undress and were unhappy about her going into the room,” added the depute.
There was then a disturbance and a struggle during which the grandad was bitten.
Grant’s solicitor, Roshni Joshi, said: “The incident was out of character for her and fuelled by the excessive consumption of alcohol.”
She added that her client was now living in another property in the same street.
Lee’s solicitor, Chris Sneddon, said his client, like her co-accused, was a first offender.
“She was brought up by her grandparents and although the narrative spoke of her grandmother, she calls her ‘mum’.”
Sheriff James MacDonald deferred sentence for good behaviour until August 19.
