SATURDAY marked a lovely day of celebration in the village of Cardenden, which saw the opening of a new business.

“Revive" is a new Hairdressing and Beauty Salon, which has opened its doors at 123 Station Road .

Clare Mitchell, and her business colleague Keavy Campbell, were joined by family and friends who joined them to raise a glass to the new venture! Clare and Keavy were joined by Clare’s son to cut the ribbon to mark the official opening.

They were then delighted to welcome all their customers to the new premises.

Both ladies have worked so hard over the past few months to set the business up with a stylish and sleek look to the shop.

Clare has lived and worked in Cardenden all her life and the community is delighted to see this much admired hairdresser go from strength to strength. She has been a local hairdresser for 13 years and excited to see what the future holds.

Keavy Campbell is a local Beautician who has been working in the community, growing her business from strength to strength for two years is excited to collaborate with Clare in their new salon.

Cllr Rosemary Liewald joined the celebration and added: “It’s wonderful to see a new business open in the village, it’s great for the community and for folk coming into the village to see vibrant businesses doing well.

"With the up and coming expansion to the community I’m sure that Clare and Keavy will make a wonderful success at their new premises. I wish them the very best.”
