WEATHER warnings are in place for high winds and rain with a 'High Risk of Disruption' all over Scotland.
While the sun is out just now, and the wind is moderate, things are expected to deteriorate from lunchtime onwards with the wind increasing and rain arriving from 7pm onwards.
The high winds and rain is expected to continue throughout the night. Tomorrow will also be very windy as Storm Ciara strikes and the poor conditions are expected to continue well into Sunday and then into Monday.
Said a Police Scotland spokesperson: "Conditions for travel may be hazardous this weekend due to high winds of up to 80mph in some areas and heavy rain. Extra caution when travelling should be exercised."
