THE man who died in a road accident near Kelty on the M90 at the beginning of the year has still not been named.
The incident occurred late on Sunday January 5, just beyond the Kelty turn-off when a Renault Scenic hit the central reservation.
A passenger in the vehicle died and then two men who were in the car disappeared.
Perth and Kinross councillors were given an update last week by the local area commander of Police Scotland, which indicated that the investigations were continuing and one of the men involved had been found in Dover, in connection with another matter, and had been brought back for interviewing.
The third person is believed to be in Europe now and efforts are being made to find him and get him back to Scotland to help with the inquiries.
The person who died, believed to be a passenger in the car, has still not been named.
It has proved a very difficult case for the police to sort out.
