THIS week's Down Memory Lane photograph selection comes from former Lochore man Hugh Robertson, who left Benarty some 50+ years ago.

Hugh is proud of his old collection of pictures handed down to him by his late uncle Kenny.

These include the top picture which is a lovely street shot taken Hugh thinks in the late1950s or early 1960s.

The middle top picture is a nice shot of Lochcraig Church which dominated the road leading up to Crosshill, this shot is likely to be 40 years old, Hugh believes.

The middle bottom picture is the original St Kenneth's Primary School, in Ballingry, from the early 1950s while left is the day that the former Gothenburg in Crosshill, which was then the Burns Tavern, was demolished after a damaging fire.

If you have any old photographs you would like to see in our Down Memory Lane feature send them to editorial@centralfifetimes.co.uk or take them to Jim Stark at the Lochgelly Centre cafe between 1pm and 3pm on a Monday or a Friday.
