A MAN suspected by police of breaching bail conditions was found hiding in a cupboard at his partner’s home in Crosshill.
As a result, Greig Rodgers, 28, of Burns Place, Shotts, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that having been placed on bail at court in Hamilton on July 27, he breached the conditions of this order on December 4 at Benarty Avenue, Crosshill, when he entered the home of his partner and was in her company.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said: “Police were making a welfare check at 7pm. They were given permission to search the premises as they had suspicions he may be there.
“When they carried out the search, the accused was found hiding in a bedroom cupboard.”
The court was told Rodgers had gone to his partner’s home after she called him.
Sheriff Vinit Khurana fined Rogers £300.
