A SIGNIFICANT pothole in a Ballingry street has caused plenty of traffic on the Benarty Matters Facebook page.

Evonne Hynd posted on Sunday: "My daughter's friend smacked the Craigie Street pothole last night.

"This is also the third time I’ve reported it to Fife Council and been advised someone will review in five working days! Still no one has done anything, I have reference numbers to prove it’s been reported if anyone’s cars been damaged by hitting it!"

Two other posts said: "The roads and paths are a total disgrace. We hit the one coming in to Ballingry, and couldn't see it as it was full of water. Really got a fright. They all over the place and there isn't many safe paths either;" and "Roads are a disgrace a bust ma' front spring on that same hole."
