A DRUG addict who stole alcohol from a Dalgety Bay store has been ordered to do unpaid work.
Anthony Morgan, 45, of Manse Road, Inverkeithing, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
He had previously admitted that on March 25, he stole a quantity of alcohol from Asda.
Solicitor Alexander Flett said his client was someone who had been struggling with drug problems for some time. "He has fairly lengthy periods when he does very well but there are blips where he gets into trouble," he said. "He wishes to address that. He will be willing to accept assistance that the court may wish to provide him."
Sheriff Alastair Brown ordered Morgan to do 120 hours of unpaid work within six months.
