THE management of a Lochgelly public house were shocked on Monday when they discovered that forgeries had been handed over the bar over the weekend.
Four forged Bank of England £20 notes were discovered at Torleys in the High Street.
The pub's Derek Neilson was furious at the discovery: "This was a shocking.
"These sort of people are just pond life who passed these through Torleys at some stage over the weekend.
"Hopefully 'what goes around will come,' for them.
"I would like to warn other businesses to watch out for these sort of notes being passed to them."
Derek added that as he reflected on the weekend at the popular Lochgelly nitespot: "There was a fair few non regulars in over weekend, I suppose it is likely to be one or two of them who is responsible."
