THE Nardone Academy of Performing Arts is looking for eager performers to take part in two early summer shows as the organisation which has put on several ambitious but highly successful shows, nears its third anniversary.

But the slight difference for the two coming up is that one of them is for Under 14s performers and this weekend auditions will be taking place.

9 to 5 The Musical will go ahead at Lochgelly Centre in June and for the younger element The Musical Annie Kids goes on in May.

Director and choreographer, Liam Nardone, is hoping that there will be plenty of people looking to be part of the shows.

Why not tumble outta' bed and stumble to the Lochgelly Centre to audition for Dolly Parton’s rip-roaring musical production, as Nardone’s Academy of Performing Arts celebrate their 3rd anniversary.

He said: "The auditions for 9 to 5 take place on Saturday January 18 starting at noon.

"There is no need to prepare anything just turn up!

"The show is open to ages from 12+, what a way to make a livin', as they say!"

9 to 5 The Musical tells the story of Doralee, Violet and Judy - three workmates pushed to boiling point by their sexist and egotistical boss. Concocting a plan to kidnap and turn the tables on their despicable supervisor, will the ladies manage to reform their office - or will events unravel when the CEO pays an unexpected visit?

Added Liam: "Inspired by the hit film and brought to you by Dolly herself, this hilarious new musical production is about teaming up, standing up and taking care of business!

"This hilarious production will have you dancing out of your seats and singing along to old time hits all the way home! It is a show suitable for the whole family to go along enjoy running from June 11 to 13th at the Centre.

"But we want plenty of artistes ready to take on the really interesting parts."

Nardone's Academy of Performing Arts also presents... ANNIE, KIDS!!!, which will run on Friday May 15 and Saturday May 16 at the Centre.

Added Liam: "To be a part of something incredible, all you need to do is come along to our workshop day at the Zodiac Studios in the old Miners' Institute, in Main Street, Lochgelly, on Sunday January 19 from 10am to 1pm.

"Honestly, you do not need to prepare anything, just turn up"

"Any youngsters 14 or under are very welcome to get involved."
