A PLAN houses to the south of The Avenue, in Lochgelly, came closer to fruition when Omnivale Ltd have been told by Fife Council planners that they do not need an environmental impact screening for their proposal to build more than 100 homes on the site.
The proposal would be for 142 houses with associated facilities such as roads, drainage infrastructure, open space and landscaping.
Omnivale are now likely to submit a formal application for consent to build on the site.
