TRAFFIC flow in Crossgates was seriously affected by roadworks yesterday.
There were three way lights at the traffic lights' junction between Dunfermline Road and Main Street with buses getting stuck in Dunfermline Road as they struggled to pass each other.
At times the village was gridlocked with cars backing onto the A92. The roadworks are to continue into next week.
The Fife Jammer Locations Facebook page had a number of posts on the situation, one was: "It's for the new houses that are getting built there.
Clearly that hasn't been thought through very well!!! School buses are back on tomorrow too, god knows what time they'll get to and from school."
Another stated: "Just came past a long queue heading into Crossgates from Inverkeithing direction," plus: "Only gonna get worse tomorrow... timed perfectly for the schools returning."
