THE M90 fully re-opened this morning after being closed for several hours due to a serious accident.

The accident on the M90 near Kelty saw the stretch between Kelty and Crook of Devon closed for some hours.

The road had been closed north and south (Kelty and Crook of Devon (4/5)) following the accident.

There was a large turn out of emergency services with two fire engines, one ambulance, and three police vehicles.

Motorists were advised to avoid the stretch and heading north by going off the M90 at Kelty and going back on near Fruix.

Meanwhile the A92 was re-opened this morning following accident yesterday evening.

The stretch between Lochgelly and Cowdenbeath was closed after a collision which saw three police vehicles and an ambulance on the scene.

With the carriageway shut for some hours west bound traffic was being re-directed via the Lochgelly junction.
