THE heavy rain of Thursday afternoon posed some flooding issues in the area.
There were particular problems in Hill of Beath and Cowdenbeath, as the Fife Jammer Locations Facebook page outlined.
One post said: "A lot of water at the bottom of the brae in Hill of Beath Main Street (see picture)." This went more than half way across the road.
Another said: "There is one that goes right across the northbound lane of the A909 opposite Gray Park too. Ploughed through it but most are going around the island and onto southbound lane to bypass it."
The downpour began early in the afternoon and it was particularly heavy between 2pm and 4pm, before easing off by 4.30pm.
