THERE was a lot of police activity in Main Street, Lochgelly, on Sunday evening after a man suffered a panic attack.
There was a turn out of three police vans, a police car and an ambulance to the situation that developed at the West End Bar, in the town.
The 'bush telegraph' was suggesting the turn out was to do with fall-out from the Celtic v Rangers Scottish Premiership match played earlier in the day but that was not the cause.
Lynne Shields, the Designated Premises manager for The West End Bar, posted on the Fife Jammer Locations Facebook page: "Just to verify that there was no football related incident in the bar tonight... a gentlemen took a panic attack/seizure which resulted in seeking immediate medical attention! Thank-you to all concerned".
