DUE to unforeseen circumstances the Benarty Community Lottery was held over for 24 hours on Sunday but it was all worth it for a Ballingry woman.
The Benarty Events Group Community Lottery was drawn by the patrons of the Lochore Miners Institute when the required numbers were
2, 3, 4, 11, 17 and 19.
There was one winner, Mrs Minnie McDonald, from Ballingry, winning the jackpot of £6,200.
Said the Events Group's Kevin Payne: "Congratulations to Minnie on her success bringing her an early Christmas present.
"Benarty Events Group would like to wish all our participants, volunteers and sponsors a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year".
This Sunday's draw will take place in the Cleikumm Inn, Ballingry, with a jackpot of £1,000 and consolation prize of £50.
As Kevin added: "TEAMWORK MAKES DREAMS WORK!"
